Respond to "Temple Grandin: the Non-Whisperer"

My misconceptions about animals are dispelled by the feature on Temple Grandin written by John Allemang. My friend had a shepherd dog called Lucky, who only saw his owner most of time when my friend fed him with bones in the evening. Smart Lucky got out of the high-fenced yard and ran away many times. After Lucky was sent back, my friend always punished him.
I never wondered that my friend’s punishment only made things worse. Because we did not think about that “the animal world is all sensory –based,” which is different from us; we did not consider “which emotional system was driving that behavior?” We only assumed that what works on human beings also works on dogs.- 119 words

Most Powerful Picture of Temple Grandin

The image of Temple Grandin turning into a cow undoubtedly impresses me most. As she kneeled down, a cow appeared for a second. Even though it changed back into Temple Grandin, she just did exactly what the cows did. She climbed into the chute and saw the light and shadow, the reflections on puddle and the chain and buttons glinting in the sun. She immediately understands why the cattle balked when they went through the chute. I could not stop thinking about that has anyone else transformed ourselves into animals when we approach them? If the answer is no, we will just see a plan other than “walking through the whole plant.” -113words

Here I Am

Love listening to the bird chirping in the tree, imagining the future being easy, splashing into water in the sea, surfing the Internet all day along ( I am sure that is bad for me ), relieving my grief by sitting in the breeze, the feeling you get when the grey clouds gradually flee.

Loved spending weekend with my parents, but I left them a year ago. Loved carrying my daughter in my arms, but now she is taller than me.

Look at life as a unique circle; know that it ends where it begins only with one difference: how people draw their own path.

Paragraph for “Something New; Something Different; Something Memorable”

The comments posted by former English 12 students encourage me to expand the experience in the new journey with the itinerary shown by them: something new, something different and something memorable. “Learning without using text books and the adaptation of new material, such as movies was amazing"; from Bernard I know that the materials used in class are new. Brad is different from other English teachers as Dasha thought that Brad is one of the few teachers whose purpose is to open students’ mind, not only teach the subject.” The memorable thing is always something you spend lots of energy and time on. Writing a poem is shared by Na, Gladys, Faiz and Mandeep. To my future journey, I have realized that I will have something new, something different and something memorable, which is totally different from what written by the previous students, and I am ready now to face the new challenge. ------153 words

First Day in My English 12 Class

I tried not to be late today, my first day for English 12 class, the skytrian still stopped in the middle of no where for a while. I had to get on the 8:55 bus since I was at bus stop at 8:45. The 8:43 123 bus had gone with my hope. It was only a couple minutes missing when I arrived at room 1, however, the full classroom was already crowded. Even I was told that my English 12 teacher Brad is different from other teachers by his previous students even other teachers at school, I was still surprised at how many students attending at his class today compared with other courses only having one third students. Before the end of the class, he astonished me again by letting us check the assignment on this blogger! That's why I am here now. Wish me a pleasure journey with my teacher Brad, my classmates and you all guys!
